One of the reasons we love Tennessee!!

We absolutely LOVE being so close to the Smoky Mountains!!  We try to visit as often as we can, and the kids enjoy going to Cades Cove.  There are so many trails to get lost on, and hopefully one day we'll be able to hike up Mt. LeConte.  Here are a few pictures from earlier today (driving through Cades Cove).  It's an 11-mile one lane drive, and there are several pull-offs to take pictures.  You're almost always guaranteed to run into wildlife of some type!

Kerbela Shrine Circus!

We had a great time taking the kids to the Kerbela Shrine Circus at Thompson Boling Arena!  We were given tickets through a family at work, and we really enjoyed the show - If anyone has a chance to see and support them, please do!  Their circus is nothing short of spectacular

A.L. Lotts Fall Festival 2012

We had a great time going with Lola and Papa to Cameron's first A.L. Lotts Elementary Fall Festival on Saturday!  The school and PTA put together a great event for the kids and it was fun seeing Cameron and Milena attending their first one (and it was nice to have Caitlin off work over the weekend for a change)

Scarecrow!

The kids had fun last week helping Caitlin make their "Scarecrow" for the front yard!  Here's a few pictures of their creation (and I'm out a pair of pants and shirt) :)
